REALTOR® Code of Ethics (COE) | 3 ECE

Registration for this class closes at 12:55 pm on April 14. Attendees must register to receive their certificate and to receive the zoom link. 

All REALTOR® members are required to complete REALTOR® Code of Ethics (COE) training upon joining an association, and each 3-year COE cycle thereafter. Cycle 8 is currently underway and ends in December 31, 2027.

This class (Course #18423) is for new members needing to complete the COE course, and for existing REALTORS® needing to complete the COE Cycle requirement. This class gives you 3 ECE credits toward your Alaska REC license renewal and will be offered virtually through zoom only.

Class materials. You will be emailed class materials and you will be asked to read and participate during the class.

Virtual attendance rules; No exceptions:

• Most importantly, log into the Zoom waiting room early, to be sure your camera and microphone are working properly.
  
  
• You will be asked to read and participate in the class discussion. Have the class materials readily available.
  
  
• For attendance purposes, type your name and brokerage office in the chat box upon entry. You will not receive a certificate unless you attend the entire class and enter your name in the chat box.
  
  
• Zoom entry will close 5-minutes before class begins, as class will begin promptly.
  
  
• Must be logged in with your computer (not phone).
  
  
• Your camera must be on at all times.
  
  
• No driving, cooking, children, or moving around during class.
  
  
• If these rules are not followed, you will receive one warning through chat and if no response within one (1) minute, you will be dropped offline.
  
  
• No phone calls during class. We will take one short break during class.

Can't attend this class?  New and Existing Members may take an online class through the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Click here take the class. You will need your M1 (NRDS) Number.

Upon completion of taking the online class, send us a copy of your online certificate and you will send you a certificate for 2 ECE credits that may be used for the AK REC license renewal. Send your certificate of online completion to: members@ancboard.com allow up to 5-business days to receive your 2 ECE certificate from us.

REALTOR® COE training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS® and must be approved by the Anchorage Board of REALTORS® and/or Alaska REALTORS®. Many courses offered by 3rd-party providers are not approved for the REALTOR® Code of Ethics training requirement.
